PhotologoThe Leopold Center is both a headquarters for the Aldo Leopold Foundation and a visitor center for the Aldo Leopold Shack and Farm. Exhibits and signs in the building interpret Aldo Leopold's history and legacy, and the green building techniques applied throughout the facility. From Memorial Day through the last Saturday in October, education staff lead guided in-depth tours of both the Shack and the Leopold Center. Click here for a guide to planning your visit.

 

General Directions

The Leopold Center is locatedabout 15 minutes northeast of Baraboo, Wisconsin. We are approximately 20 minutes away from Devil's Lake and Mirror Lake State Parks, and 10 minutes from the International Crane Foundation.
